An exhibition depicting the transformation of a residential building in attending to future-proof housing. The transformation of decaying social housing into a model for the future
Recycling Architecture - The Alternative to Demolition. The exhibition presents the renovation of 530 homes in public housing from 1960 Bordeaux. Photos from the apartments is the scale of 1: 1 so that you can feel how it is to stay in one of the transformed space, and the project form during the festival starting point for a discussion of the options, values and challenges related to social housing types.
On April 27, the exhibition opens with a speech by curator Andreas Ruby, Director, Swiss Architecture Museum.
