A popular definition of psychogeography is the effects of the geographical environment on the emotions and behaviour of individuals. Over the course of three months, photographer Alastair Jackson spent time traversing the abandoned tenements and derelict sites of Tradeston in Glasgow.

This photography exhibition illustrates what Howard Devoto once described as ‘negative drive’. Tradeston, so close to the city centre remains in a state of neglect, with seemingly little motivation for regeneration yet this area has the potential to fully reconnect the Southside back, across the river.
