On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Architekturgalerie we continued the search for pearls, which we started 10 years ago with the first book and the exhibition "PERLEN - Bauten und Orte in München". Now we focus our attention on the open spaces of Munich. The last two weeks in particular have shown the value and necessity of open spaces, gardens, parks and squares close to residential areas as sports and recreational areas in the city. We have therefore joined forces with Munich's architects, landscape architects and historians to search for special places in Munich and have had them photographed by Michael Heinrich, Markus Lanz and Simon Schels.

We would like to thank all pearl seekers for their inspiring and beautiful contributions: Philipp Auer, Nicolette Baumeister, Ruth Berktold, Stefan Blume, Wolfgang Brune, Matthias Castorph, Peter Cerno, Roland Dieterle, Dressler Mayerhofer Rössler, Peter Eisenlauer, Elisabeth Endres, Johannes Ernst, Benedict Esche, Evi Lang, Agnes Förster, Fthenakis Ropee, Andreas Garkisch, Victoria von Gaudecker, Andrea Gebhard, Marco Goetz, Georg Götze, Horst Haffner, Peter Haimerl, Gottfried Hansjakob, Benedikt Hartl, Gerhard Hausladen, Alexander Häusler, Oliver Heiss, Andreas Hild, Hirner Riehl Marschner, Rainer Hofmann, Octavianne Hornstein, Alban Janson, Thomas Jocher, Stephanie Jühling, Karl R.
