Curated by Paulo Providência, Pedro Baía and Mariana Couto, the exhibition aims to record a reading of the architect Bartolomeu Costa Cabral´s production – of more than 200 projects, from 1948 to the present day – through the interrelations of the collection recently deposited at the Marques da Silva Foundation with the archives of the architects Maurício Vasconcelos and Alçada Baptista (GPA – Grupo de Planeamento e Arquitectura) and Nuno Teotónio Pereira. It will seek to translate the plurality of this architect’s professional career, in the context of housing, school and equipment programmes.

Thus, it revisits projects developed at different scales of intervention, programs, places and concept, structured into 3 sections – Housing, City, University – namely works as diverse as: the Blocks of Olivais Sul and the Águas Livres Housing Block; the House of Rua da Verónica and the Taipa House; the housing plan of the Pego Longo Neighborhood and the EPUL Building in Martim Moniz, the  Castelo School, the Escola Superior de Tecnologia in Tomar and the buildings for the University of Minho and the University of Beira Interior.

Several videos and documents frame the drawings and models that throughout the exhibition allow us to monitor the development of these projects.
