Buildings, Spaces and Landscapes

Florian Hugger and Thomas Rampp have been drawing buildings, spaces and landscapes since their architectural studies. In their search for methods to describe forms, volumes and constructions and in their ambition to make invisible structural connections of architecture visible, the two draftsmen have filled many sketchbooks.

Since 1999, these drawings have been used to create monthly calendars and, in loose ten-year cycles, a book. Now the second volume is being published. At the beginning of December, the two artists will be exhibiting a collection of selected drawings in the Architekturgalerie Munich. The message is the joy of drawing.
