Journey into Utopia

1 rue Renée Aspe, 31000 Toulouse
Tue–Sun 10 am–6 pm

The Parcours en Utopia exhibition offers a restitution of the residence of the architect Perrine Viot and the historian Sonia Moussay in the Reynerie / Mirail area in Toulouse.

Taking the mutation of this neighborhood as a common thread, the exhibition brings together and superimposes different prisms to understand differently this urban territory and neighborhood in transition, from the initial project and its construction through its past, current and future modifications and the layers of stories of its inhabitants.

The Parcours en Utopie residency project was carried out as a continuation of Court-Circuit, a project for the poeticization of public space proposed by the Freddy Morezon collective at the initiative of CIAM, Center for artistic initiatives at Mirail at the University Toulouse Jean-Jaurès in partnership with the Maison de l'Architecture Occitanie - Pyrénées.

The restitution of the residence is done in two parts: a peri-urban and poetic hike (Wednesday April 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.) and an exhibition at the Maison de l'Architecture (opening on Friday April 26 from 6:30 p.m.).
