Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé

An original exhibition that looks back at the complex and complicit relationship ofthese two great architects. In the history of architecture of the XX century, Le Corbusier and Jean Prouvé have received awards and recognition from celebrations, prompting numerous studies and publications. Their meeting was inevitable; their collaboration was real, even if it appears, in of their respective works, from the most modest. However, their relationship is one of mutual esteem, complicit tinkering, complicity and attempts and achievements that we end up forgetting so much about them that we belong to a known landscape. The chronology of their exchanges, the presentation of their work together deserved to be presented. This exhibition is organised by the Pierre-Noël Museum, with the support of the Le Corbusier Foundation and the National Museum of Modern Art (Centre Pompidou/Centre de Création Industrielle).
