Karl Hack
Architect Karl Hack (1922 - 2000) is rightly considered one of the most important representatives of Carinthian architectural development after the Second World War. The culturally valuable buildings that were built during this time are still underestimated in public perception. The Carinthian Building Archives has therefore set itself the goal of contributing more to the understanding of building culture, to safeguarding the existence and sensible continued use of these buildings.
The Carinthian Building Archives and the Architektur Haus Kärnten invite you to the exhibition and book presentation on November 21st, 2023 at 6 p.m. In its second exhibition, the Carinthian Building Archives makes the almost forgotten work of the architect Karl Hack visible. The remaining parts of his estate were taken over at the end of 2015 and were the reason for founding the Carinthian Building Archives Association. The publication is published by Album Verlag as a series of publications, Volume II of the Carinthian Building Archives.
A project by the Carinthian Building Archives in cooperation with Architektur Haus Kärnten. With kind support from the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport, the Central Association of Architects of Austria - Regional Association of Carinthia, the private foundation of the Kärntner Sparkasse, the State of Carinthia and the ZT Chamber for Carinthia and Styria.
Opening: 23.11.2023, 6 p.m.
