Introducing

Gallery of Contemporary Art - House of Art of České Budějovice

In the period between 1997 - 2009, the House of Art of České Budějovice, which houses the Contemporary Art Gallery, was managed by the Městské kulturní domy (Municipal Houses of Culture) joint-stock company, which had the building in a long-term lease from the town. At the beginning of February 2010 the management of the gallery was taken over by the section of culture of the town of České Budějovice.
Since 1998, the dramaturgy of this gallery has been focused, under the management of the curator Michal Škoda, on contemporary visual arts and architecture. Every year, the gallery prepares...
