7th edition of the Dissertations and Diplomas Prize

Address
148 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, 75010 Paris
Hours
Mon–Fri 2–6 pm

The ambition of the Maison de l’architecture Ile-de-France is to build solid links with architecture schools. From this perspective, we have two objectives: to be a place for the dissemination of architectural culture for students, a place where we learn, exchange and experiment; be a space to promote the work carried out in schools.

Sponsored by Simon Teyssou, architect, urban planner and Grand Prix de l’urbanisme 2023, this 7th edition attracted the interest of more than 334 students from the Ile-de-France region, presenting a total of 204 diplomas and 130 theses. Thanks to an attentive and committed jury, we were able to distinguish ten diplomas and ten theses.

The jury of the Prix de la Maison de l’architecture Ile-de-France would like to salute the relevance and originality of the questions raised in the dissertations and in the diplomas of this 7th edition as well as their very high quality. The list of ten diplomas reflects an invigorating heterogeneity, a strong commitment of the student community to social issues and a certain graphic and plastic skill. The ten winning dissertations demonstrate great scientific solidity, supported by mature research approaches, as well as fluid, precise and controlled writing.

The jury thanks the candidates for this dive into the questions that drive their generation and for the quality of their work.

This study day will be followed, at 7 p.m., by an awards ceremony and the opening of the exhibition of the winners of the Diploma Prize.

All of the winning projects of the 7th edition of the Diploma Prize will be exhibited in the Chapel of the Maison de l’architecture Ile-de-France from November 23 to 25, 2023.
