Grown together and yet separated by a border, fatefully connected and at the same time very different, old and young. In Konstanz and Kreuzlingen, people have always dreamed of a "different" city. What are the roots of the hopes associated with unrealized architectural and urban planning designs? There is some evidence that the border location has inspired the utopian imagination. Whether it is a promising utopia or a daunting dystopia - visitors to the exhibition can find out for themselves. They go on a journey through the districts. With the help of signposts and a map, they can move individually through the exhibition and experience the urban space on a bike tour.
