For the twelfth time the architectural review Bauwelt has been tendering the Bauwelt Award “First Works” — this edition is a coproduction with Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and the company Kingspan. The jury selected six first realized projects out of 130 submissions — from transformation projects to temporary interventions, from housing to office buildings and the sustainable development of public space.

Maximilian Hartinger: chicken coop made from recycled building materials, Schönberg
MeierUnger: retirement home, Selzach
studioSER: urban interventions, Monte/Castel San Pietro
Studio SNCDA: Fire station with integrated multi-purpose hall and emergency accommodation, Dilbeek
