More is Now!

The exhibition of contemporary architecture, marking the Czech Republic’s appearance as Guest of Honor at the 2026 Frankfurt Book Fair, is presented by the German Architecture Museum in collaboration with the National Gallery in Prague. It brings together Czech projects by architects in their 40s. How is the contemporary generation of emerging architects reinterpreting the proverbial paradigm “less is more” in light of new technologies, materials, resource scarcity, and ecological and social challenges?

The exhibition aims to build an international reach and a network connecting Czech and international partners. The preparatory process and the selection of studios for the exhibition and catalog are guided by an advisory partner committee. The traveling exhibition is organized internationally by Czech Centers. The exhibition is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund.
