The “wertschau” exhibition, created in collaboration with ZRS Architekten Ingenieure and the NBL at TU Berlin, will be on view from July 2–22, 2026, at KIT in Karlsruhe.

The exhibition is the result of close collaboration between ZRS, NBL, and K+E, focusing on research and the collective knowledge gained from years of practical experience in building within planetary boundaries—a mission that closely unites the three organizations.
In the spirit of the circular economy and a mindful approach to transportation emissions, some of the objects displayed at the auau Gallery in Hamburg were made from borrowed reclaimed wood. After the exhibition, these were returned to the lender, Wilhelmsburger Zinnwerke. For the exhibition in Karlsruhe, students therefore designed new exhibits during this year’s seminar week, built them from reclaimed wood, and also redesigned the exhibition system to suit the spaces of the School of Architecture. The successful result is on display on the first floor of the School of Architecture.
