Expo Osaka 2025

Expo 2025 will take place in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on Yumeshima Island. This global event brings together over 160 countries and organizations to explore the theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The goal is to imagine a better future through ideas around health, sustainability, and technology.

This isn’t Osaka’s first time hosting the Expo—back in 1970, it welcomed over 60 million visitors. Now, 55 years later, it’s back with bold new architecture, like the huge wooden "Grand Ring" designed by Sou Fujimoto. The site will also include impressive pavilions from countries around the world, with Japan’s own pavilion focusing on the natural cycle of life.
