Poster exhibition in urban spaces

As part of the “Award for Creative Urban Concepts” competition organized in 2025 by the Faculty of Architecture in cooperation with the Haus der Architektur Köln, master’s students developed new design concepts for the Hansaring transit stop in Cologne.
Starting March 16, selected entries will be displayed for two weeks on the public billboards at the Hansaring transit stop. They are located on the columns beneath the elevated track.

The exhibition aims to show daily users and passersby at the station, as well as anyone interested, alternative design possibilities and to illustrate that not everything needs to be renovated to enhance the spatial quality of the site. The designs demonstrate how the character of the station can be enhanced through a few architectural tricks while preserving the existing structure.
