The Maison de l'Architecture Occitanie-Pyrénées association aims to promote architecture and the ambition to participate in the dissemination of architectural culture. The members of the board of directors implement cultural programming and dissemination tools to reach out to all audiences, professionals, students, and the general public.
The association has been publishing a monthly Plan Libre newspaper since April 2002. This means of communication showcases emblematic architectural works of the years 1945-1975 in Toulouse, but also projects designed throughout the Occitanie region. It also promotes the production of thematic exhibitions that it designs alone or in partnership, and more analytical texts.

The Maison de l'Architecture invites numerous speakers of national and international renown to feed the debates related to contemporary issues of planning and living environment but also to working and design methods.
It also co-organizes the Rendez-Vous de l'Architecture, the Prix Architecture Occitanie alternating with the Palmarès de la Jeune Architecture en Occitanie.
The House of Architecture is a component of the National Network of Houses of Architecture. It takes part in its board of directors and supports it in the realization of cultural actions of national scope (creation and administration of the archicontemporaine.org site and general public ranking).
The Maison de l'Architecture is also committed to developing various partnerships with cultural players in the region through its actions
