The notions of landscape, urban planning and architecture are intimately linked.

From their inception, OLGGA’s projects combine judicious responses to an area’s needs with a commitment to practical operation and use.
For the past 15 years the firm has specialised in designing sports facilities of all types, from sports halls to sports grounds to stadiums. The characteristics inherent to such facilities give us the opportunity to compose on every scale, from the user to the overall landscape. Our aim is for each architectural programme to give meaning to its setting, to magnify it and make it understandable by all. To ensure construction and location enrich one another.
Certain leitmotifs run through all these projects:
- The horizon: conjure the wider landscape and play on the duality with humankind’s vertical stature.
- The ground: design in harmony with the site’s topography.
- Limitations: throw off boundaries; contain while remaining open to the exterior world.
