Cities Connection

Project 06—LUX
1, rue de la Tour Jacob, Luxembourg 1831
Tue-Fri 12 am-6 pm, Sat 2-6 pm

The principle is simple: twenty recent urban projects, resulting from a mix of programs (housing, schools, cultural centers, leisure centers, public spaces, green spaces, etc.) located in each of the three cities/regions in the spotlight, are presented within an exhibition. The sharing of spaces and activities, as well as the diversity of uses programs, are the common points of the projects illustrated in this exhibition which highlights the different approaches and processes experienced by architects from different cities or countries in very heterogeneous contexts.

On the occasion of the traveling exhibition "Cities Connection - Project 06. Shared living spaces" at luca – Luxembourg Center for Architecture, the curators selected five Luxembourg projects with the aim of establishing a dialogue between the projects of local architects and those of Wallonia-Brussels, Basel and Barcelona.

Speakers: Josep Ferrando (Josep Ferrando Architecture, Barcelona), Brice Polomé (Goffart Polomé Architectes, Bruxelles), Shadi Rahbaran and Ursula Hürzeler (Rahbaran Hürzeler Architects, Basel)
