Form Follows Love

The exhibition introduces architect Anna Heringer through her buildings, collaborations, and the “Form Follows Love” approach. At its core is her philosophy of understanding architecture as a social and cultural practice—shaped by mindfulness, responsibility, and trust. The exhibition showcases projects, materials, and working methods that bring together local resources, craftsmanship, and community. A separate section is dedicated to the “Claystorming” method, which Anna Heringer developed together with Martin Rauch and through which she links design, intuition, and collective experience. Additionally, the exhibition highlights her teaching activities and the reception of her work in the Global North—as an example of an active transformation of knowledge that opens up innovative approaches to sustainable building, learning, and cultural collaboration. The presentation invites visitors to understand architecture as a collaborative process that extends beyond the built environment and points to an attitude of connectedness.
