The AJ Small Projects Awards, launched in 1996, recognises smaller schemes that have been completed by a UK-based architect either in the UK or abroad with a contract value of £250,000 and under.

Celebrating design ingenuity and excellence delivered within a budget, the exhibition features the twenty shortlisted projects of the Award. From house extensions and garden sheds to office refurbishments and outdoor toilets, small works are the bread and butter of the architecture profession. Playful concepts, materiality and attention to detail made these shortlisted projects stand out among nearly 200 entries to this year’s awards.

The Architecture Centre is pleased to welcome the Architects’ Journal Small Projects Award exhibition to the gallery for the fouth year, and runs concurrently with the exhibit in Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios Front Room, London.
