Conversations about Climate Change

Address
Store Street, London WC1E 7BT Map
Hours
Mon–Fri 9:30 am–6 pm

Conversations about Climate Change provides a platform for urgent debates about the climate emergency.
We invite audiences to engage with design objects that spark these conversations through their form and material - timber. The exhibition will showcase 'conversation pieces'; an array of furniture, sculpture, models and functional design objects made from tropical hardwood selected by our expert judging panel as the winners of the Conversations about Climate Change Competition.

2020 had been designated a super year for climate conversations with COP26 scheduled to take place in November. Now postponed due to the global COVID 19 pandemic, the battle against climate change remains an urgent threat to humanity. Conversations about Climate Change is timed to mark the original date of COP26, and through the exhibition and events we hope to keep the conversation going and highlight the vital role for tropical forests in the climate debate.
Conversations about Climate Change is a partnership between the Building Centre and the Timber Trade Federation.

Supported by the Department for International Development.
