Good Buildings of the City of Zurich 2025

Good buildings and open spaces shape the face of the city. They have a long tradition in Zurich. To ensure this remains the case in the future, the City of Zurich encourages discussion and has regularly recognized the best buildings and facilities for around 80 years. In 2025, the award for good buildings will be presented for the 19th time.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 2nd. The exhibition at Zaz Bellerive will then showcase the best buildings and open space projects constructed in the City of Zurich between 2021 and 2024. For the award, a jury of experts will conduct a holistic assessment, with socio-spatial, economic, and ecological aspects being central components in addition to urban planning, architectural, and urban spatial criteria.
