The exhibition, authored by Mirjana Kos, Jasenka Kranjčević comprises original drawings of tourist infrastructure (chiefly hotels) designed by Viennese architects in the late 19th century and early 20th century, primarily for the Kvarner Gulf area but also for the Dalmatian coast. The drawings represent tourist architecture projects that, despite all their beauty, were not implemented for different reasons, whether financial reasons or due to a twist of fate in historical events. The majority of the exhibits are kept in the collection of State Archives Rijeka, while some are on loan from other national archives in Dalmatia. The original exhibition was put up in State Archives Rijeka (in Autumn 2013), and afterwards it travelled to other national archives in Dalmatia. It is accompanied by an exhibition catalogue with the same title. This edition of the exhibition is co-organized by the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia which will be hosting additional activities referring to "history of tourism", among them a lecture by the co-author of the exhibition, Jasenka Kranjčević (Croatian Museum of Tourism, Opatija).
