Space and Form: An Elementary Poetics of Architecture

Jean-Christophe Quinton, Architect
Address
7 rue Ferrère, 33000 Bordeaux
Hours
Tue+Thu–Sun 11 am–18, Wed 11 am–8 pm

Comprising a series of interconnected spaces, this installation offers a nuanced exploration of architecture’s fundamental resources and invites visitors to experience the gallery space in a new way. The architect thus invites the audience on a poetic journey to familiarize themselves with these essential elements of design. Through models, drawings, photographs, and plans, the architect makes his design philosophy accessible to all. Through the spatial apparatus—composed of modules built to create these new spaces—it invites an immediate architectural experience to grasp all its promises.

This exhibition reflects the conviction that the union of form, beauty, and ideal creates an architecture that enables us to be better for ourselves, better for others, and better for the world.
