Viktor Hufnagl would have been 100 years old today. On this occasion, the ÖGFA is dedicating an exhibition and an accompanying catalog to its founding member to present his work. Hufnagl was not only a pioneer of contemporary school construction and a typologically inventive residential architect, but also a “communication and discussion person” (Friedrich Achleitner) who saw his job as a socio-political mission.

The exhibition uses exemplary works to highlight central aspects of his work and shows previously unpublished material from his life's production. Selected photographs by Werner Feiersinger show the current condition of Hufnagl's buildings and point to their proven suitability for everyday use.
