On Thursday 22 June we will open the exhibition Table setting #5 Studio bravo. Engineer-architects Marianne Ghoos, Eva Gutscoven and Ruth Heirman present their practice and a daring installation on the forecourt at the main entrance of De Singel. The Antwerp office Studio bravo was founded by engineer-architects Marianne Ghoos, Eva Gutscoven and Ruth Heirman. They met at KU Leuven, but then each specialized in different domains of design practice. In their studio they combine their experience in architectural design, stability, spatial planning, heritage and landscape. From this broad background, a committed and critical attitude guides their projects. Studio bravo works from the creative hub 'Onder Stroom', in the north of Antwerp. They are part of a wide range of young creative talents - with whom they sometimes collaborate - and a lively environment full of social and cultural activities. The optimism, fed by a broad background, characterizes Studio Bravo and their working environment.

Table setting
Table Setting is a series of exhibitions about young architects from Flanders and Brussels, produced by DE SINGEL and the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAi). Each edition, a young design practice presents itself on the square in front of DE SINGEL. They do this with a colorful set of tables that carry the exhibition and serve as street furniture, each time in a new arrangement.
